- Woongjin Think Big's Total Innovation System is based on the W-TPS (Total Profit System), which comprises Sang Sang Ocean, an ongoing employee innovation system; innovation projects for each of the divisions; and the InnOcean Group, which is engaged in innovation coordination.
Motivation for Innovation
To promote Sang Sang Ocean, the company’s ongoing employee innovations system, points that can be used as cash are accumulated whenever an idea is provided or executed. The company also stages a variety of events aimed at encouraging the imagination of all its employees. Moreover, innovation projects are awarded twice a year. Recipients of the award receive monetary rewards as well as benchmarking opportunities overseas, and the award-winning projects are shared with all of Woongjin’s subsidiary companies through W-TPS seminars to further encourage innovation.
